Elizabeth, a native of the Boston area, was introduced to photography in high school and immediately caught the “darkroom bug”. She continued to follow her passion and graduated Amherst College in 2005 with honors in her photographic thesis. After a few years of working at a gallery on Newbury Street and freelancing on the side, she returned to school to complete her MFA at the School of Visual Arts in 2010. Her work has been exhibited in group shows nationally, and she has her first solo show scheduled in 2012 at NESOP (New England School of Photography) in Boston. Elizabeth has won various photography awards, including PDN 2010 Annual Student Winner and Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward 2011 Emerging Photographer Award. Her work has been featured in blogs such as the New Yorker Photo Booth, Hey Hot Shot!, Lenscratch, and LPV Magazine, and will be published in Peter Hay Halbert’s upcoming book, Identities Now – Contemporary Portraiture in Photography.

Elizabeth works out of her home office/digital darkroom in Cambridge with her Yorkies, Norman and Rocky, by her side.
